New Events and Funding in 2009!
Social Enterprise and Investment Fund
FUSHIA has been awarded a grant by the Social Enterprise and Investment Fund to build on the successes of it's first year. This exciting and innovative new project will forge the way for the next three years and continue to build FUSHIA's capacity to carry on with it's work.
The Six Streets Event
FUSHIA worked in partnership with the local community to hold The Six Streets Event on Wednesday 15 April 2009, at Sunderland Bangladeshi Community Centre.
The event was well attended and several speeches were given by local community leaders. Our thanks go to all those involved in the event for making it such a big success.
FUSHIA looks forward to holding further events in the future. If you are interested in working with FUSHIA within your local community please get in touch with us via the How to Contact FUSHIA page.
